For the Wegemuseum in Wusterhausen, Germany, we developed an interface to display a digital archive of historical events and documents in the region around Wusterhausen. The museum is dedicated to historical paths, transportation and communication. Working with the museum coordinator, we chose ten themes to showcase on an interactive map.
Choosing one topic, relevant information is displayed while other topics fade away. The user discovers content by dragging the map to uncover images which open into image galleries. The Wegemuseum interface enables the discovery of content that enhances exhibitions displayed in the museum, offering the visitor a richer experience.
